MIDI clips cut off first note!!

Hey people! Long time user of PT, first post here.

Been doing synthestration on PT for years, but this issue started occurring after a recent reinstallation of my OS (Windows 7) and updated PT 2018. Issue is this:

MIDI clips are cutting off or becoming attached to MIDI notes! Seems that more than half the time I try to move a MIDI clip, I discover that the first note within that clip (quantized) is somehow lost or attached weirdly to a previous clip.

Looks like this.

Anyone else have this issue?? Better yet, any solutions?? Cheers.
