Lost activation code for Pro Tools 8 LE - Help!!

Hello everyone,

I am trying to install Pro Tools 8 LE on my new Mac but I have lost the activation code!

I have looked in my Avid online account and the activation code doesn't appear anywhere. It must have been back in 2010 when I got my Mbox 2 Pro...

Is there anyway I can activate my software/ find my old code?

I'm really stuck! Any help would be very much appreciated!

Chris, Login to your Avid account again, and click on "Products Not Yet Downloaded". Complete the requested registration information, and your authorization code will then be available in the "Your Products" section of your Avid account.

Do you have your Registration Card?

By new Mac do you mean a new one with Mavericks (OSX10.9)?
8 is not supported on 10.9

Thanks for the help guys it's much appreciated!

OK so managed to get the authorization code which worked fine. Initially version 8 would crash every time I opened it however I installed the update (8.0.5) and this load up fine.

However, i now have another problem!

If I try and press play on the transport I get the error 6085 message:

"Audio device buffer underflowed. If this occurs frequently
please try decreasing the H/W Buffer Size in the Playback Engine
Panel or remove other devices from audio FireWire bus."

I have tried everything I can think of but it just won't go away!

Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this. I'm really not very tech minded...

Yeah, unfortunately I am using Mavericks but i've read on other forums that people have managed to get it going OK...

The program is up and running its just this darn error message that I need to tackle...

Any ideas?
