Default DG001 and Cubase VST on PC

Hallo guys. Can Cubase VST run on a PC with DG001?
What about DG001 and ASIO driver?
A dealer tell me that is no possible because Dg001 can't support the ASIO drivers.
Is it true in all the ways? There is one able to run Cubase and DG001 on PC?

" Can Cubase VST run on a PC with DG001?"

Yes. You must use the two channel driver supplied on the PTLE disc. The down side is you can only utilize two I/O channels of the 001 with this driver running under Cubase VST.

Currently, there is no ASIO driver for the 001. Steinberg says they have no plans to make one. Digidesign says they have no plans to make one either so that leaves a Third Party developer to make one. So far, no one has stepped up to the challenge.
