Vintage filter via Bus makes bus-reverb crazy

Recently had problems to bus vintage filter, so I learned that I shouldn't use it as a send but:
'' set the output of the channel / audio track to a spare bus and the input of the aux to the same bus''.
So I did (I think) and the vintage filter now worked fine through the bus. BUT, now instead it's the reverb (that I'm also using through a bus), and that I never had a problem with before, that's acting up.
As soon as I've made the adjustments to be able to use the vintage filter through a bus aswell, the reverb effect goes bananas (super much reverb adds, and when I change the reverb volume through the send, it's not only the reverb but also some volume that changes, not unlike the vintage filter before I changed to as descripted in the beginning).

It's always something...

Your sending the main output of the track to the Aux with the reverb? that's how I'm reading it
If this is what your doing your doing it wrong, the track's main output goes to the main out you use a Send from the track to the Aux with the reverb on it
