I lost my Pro Tools Authorization Code. Help!

Hi,

I'm using Pro Tools LE 8.0 with an MBox 2 on an iMac and am going to be flying to Texas where I'd like to use my Mbox 2 with a PC. The problem is I lost my pro tools authorization code and don't have access to it. Is there anything I can do to install pro tools on the PC in Texas? Can I access that code from inside Pro Tools while I still have access to it on my iMac? Do I have any options at all? I do still have serial numbers, etc.

I tried to get in contact with Avid but I have to pay just to ask this question. I've done Google searches but I can't find any clear resolution.

This is time sensitive, any help would be amazing.

If you registered your software, you can log onto your MyAvid account and find any code that was registered. In my account, I can grab codes for 8, 7.4 and 7.3, as well as find links to downloads.

I had 8.03 installed on my mac and lost my code. I cant reinstall it on my other mac, is there anybody out there that can help me please.?

Hi Avid,

Seems I have the same problem.. Hadn't needed to reinstall in the last 4 years, but a corrupted hard drive forced the issue.. I just checked my old email (the one connected to this forum account) and found an email showing i registered the product back in Jun 2010. I really hope i can get back online!
