HW Buffer Size = Video Latency as well?
Upon reviewing the manual..
HD: Getting started. Pg 30: "In addition to causing sower screen response and monitoring latency, higher hardware buffer settings can affect the accuracy of plug-in automation, mute data and timing for midi tracks" Does this also mean it can cause latency with video as well, say, outputting video through the firewire port? I am well aware of the video offset, but I'm wondering if that needs to be tweaked (again) if the HW Buffer size is altered. Do they "battle" one another? I suppose the same question could be raised with regards to the DAE buffer. Is there a recommended order in which to tweak each setting? Thanks!
