Has this been reproducible? Is there not enough info in the GIF I posted to at least let AVID have a look at it?

For me it's been happening at least a year, and other users have reported it.

My only hope beyond AVID fixing it is hoping that when I upgrade to the new iMac Pro after it's released, that a fresh install of everything solves it.

I've done at least one fresh OS X install on my current iMac though and the problem came back easily.
