MP3 option wont work please help

I have LE 6.7 on XP I have been using the mp3DEMO option but now after going online and giving 20 bucks for the MP3 option I down load a ZIP with instructions but no help

on my dialog in the MP3 option it has a challenge and response what do I do with that????
I mean i can not find anywhere on the site to input the challenge

You need to run the Pro Tools installer and ADD the MP3 Codec Update to the list of installed components. You should then be able to bounce to disk as an MP3 and it will ask for your authorization code.

I have the same problem. the MP3 import/export asks me for my code (which I just purchased)...I enter it and then it tells me it's an invalid code.

Also, now when I try to export mp3 it tells me I am missing a DLL file.

Digi - I love your stuff...but the materials handed out with this mp3 option purchase are pretty poor on how to get it up and running.

What is the challenge response thing in the authorization box? I was not asked anywhere for the challenge when purchasing online? It just gave me an authorization phrase right away.

As an update to this...finally got it to work. I had to download a different version from Digi. Also, the instructions to install it are old and they tell you to put the dll file in the wrong place (actually one that no longer exists). The DAE folder is located elswhere in newer PT versions on Win XP. I am a happy camper again!
