Default DAE error 35

Okay, so a session I'm working on only works if I run it iff my external hard drive.
If I import it into my machine and play it off my internal HDD I get DAE error 35.

I've actually reset my machine and reinstalled everything, with the same results.
I've saved copy into my Mac and the same results.

There's another 5 reels (it's a feature length film) and they all work fine, running at the same bit depth and sample rate (24/48k)

I've even created a new session, and imported session data into this new session, and still the same error code!

2.6 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel Iris 1536 MB
Safari 10.12.6
PT version: 12.7.1

I should also say, there's no plugins running on the session

here are a few things i found for you ..

"I just found that, if I had a network drive with the same name mounted, pro tools would generate aae 35 error. Once I dismounted that drive, and restarted pro tools, it was smooth sailing. Must be confusion in differentiating between two drives of the same name, even though one is local and the other networked. "

1) do you still have the external drive running that it Does work from ??
2) do you have a backup drive attached ??

John,

To say I feel a bit of a fool is an understatement.
I looked through the forum for anything related to my problem. Must have looked straight past it!

It does indeed work after ejecting my hard drive!

Kinda strange that it's only affecting one of my 6 reels.

you are most welcome, and not a fool at all my friend .. we are here to help each other ..

that is Odd that it only happened on one Reel .. if you find anymore more info of Why, please do share for the next person .. cheers
