New Mix with oil stains around screws?

Hi,

I just unboxed a new artist mix and noticed a dark stain around every screw above the faders.
Looks like the screws were oily and the grease has slowly spread around the screw into the black coating of the surface.

Is this normal? Looks pretty terrible. Can I clean it? With what? Return the unit or do they all come like that?

They probably changed the manufacturing facility when Avid bought Euphonix. My old Mc Mix are fine.

I have noticed the same on my artist mix, but not on my mc mix (Euphonix)

Well the old MC mix didn't have the rubbery surface so the grease probably didn't spread across it or simply wasn't visible on the metal surface.
