Default MIDI Notes cut off during with Record enabled

Hey folks,

When I have record enabled I have MIDI notes cutting off when I try to over dub or even just play the track. Almost like trying to play chords on a mono synth.

I am sure I am missing something and your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

What are you using as a MIDI controller? If it's a synthesizer then try turning off 'local off' on the synthesizer. If it's just a controller keyboard with no sounds of it's own AND you're using traditional 5 pin MIDI connections disconnect the cable that goes between the MIDI out on your MIDI interface to the MIDI in on the keyboard. This might be a MIDI loop issue.

Hey thank you so much for the advice. Turning global off seems to have done the trick. I'll keep checking it.

Thanks again.
