X-form plugin vs elastic audio?
I see a "special offer" 60% discount for the plugin in my account. $199 still seems steep, to put it mildly, especially for a plugin that's based on 15-yr-old tech (Izotope Radius). What are the advantages over elastic audio, which has the x-form algorithm?

Re: X-form plugin vs elastic audio?
Ease of use is a big one. The plugin itself is a lot quicker and more flexible to use on multiple clips, and you can use it with the trim tool for even more flexibility.
It also doesn't suffer from the quirks and bugs that the version in Elastic Audio suffers from - probably due to the fact that it's not being asked to place markers in the audio. You'd generally use the two for different things, really, given the way each is implemented. All those time/pitch plugins are expensive, but if you do a lot of sound design, they are invaluable. I like having a few to choose from, as they all sound different on various types of material. Between X-form and Waves Soundshifter, I have most of my bases covered for stretching melodic material, and for dialog, T C/E is still far and away the best I've found.

I still find "Pitch 'n Time Pro" invaluable.

Re: X-form plugin vs elastic audio?
I just crossgraded to Ultimate and I see that I have X-form. Is it the same version that's on sale?
