???? Authorisation code??????

When I try to download the update for my ProTools LE (I understand I have to have at least 7.1.1) it asks for my authorisation code. So I entered the one on the inside of the cover of the manual, and it said it was invalid. It comes in three parts, one saying 'DIGI0681', the second and third containing a mix of lower-case characters and numbers. Whatever combInation I try, it says 'invalid'!! What do I do?? Am I trying to download the wrong thing?

It looks like you're trying to use an authorization code from a version 6.8 install. You'll either have to buy the 7.3 upgrade for $75 or if you're eligible for a free upgrade, you'll need to call DigiCS for the activation code.

No, this is version 7.0 for MacOs 10.4

The authorization code you described in your first post is for version 6.8 (hince the DIGI0680). Did the version 7 authorization code you have come with your system or did you receive it via email? You'll need to use THAT code to download any updates.

By the way, the updates beyond 7.1.1 will likely cost you.
