You have probably a secret, on my PWB with 10.3.9 it did not work. Now, I re-installed my system with 10.3.8 and it works.

I don't know about any secert but anyway I glad that you were able to get it working on ver 10.3.8 I have a G4 as well running that ver, I have not install the M-Audio 1814 and ProTool yet on that system will do so later on it my main Studio so I don't want to cause any down time with it , and I will try to keep you update if I do come across a problem with my Laptop run ver 10.3.9 take care
