this should help a lot: he is a starving musician, plays guitar and speaks with a NY accent...

that actually helps a lot. more than half the starving guitarists don't have NY accents. there can't be more than a dozen starving guitarists with NY accents named Bob. i think i can find him in less than 2 months, but first you have to convince my wife that i need to go bar hopping every night for the next 2 months.
