Default M-Powered and Timecode

Will the M-Powered software chase midi timecode? Will it import and playback a movie?

I believe those are "Yes" and "Yes", but no timecode timeline, EVER, because PTLE-MP won't support DV Toolkit.

Crying shame, isn't it?

Ever is a strong word. I would imagine Digi will add support for all those items in a future revision.. otherwise it's a waste of potential income.

If I knew of a sound technical reason for it, I'd agree with you, but for now I think Digi is trying to segment the market with this un-feature.

I doubt mp will ever support dv toolkit.

That said grid mode can be used to work with frames (sort of.) Divide the frame rate by the sample rate to get thenumber of samples per frame. Then set grid and nudge values to that number. You can use this to shuttle through frames easily and spot fx to the frame. Still have to use minutes and seconds to locate events.
