Default No "Check For Updates" option under Help

Upgraded to PT 12 with standard support/upgrade plan. Current version 12.0.0

Went to manually check for updates because i was having some "not responding" episodes (topic for another thread). Tried following instructions from Help > ProTools Help menu, after searching for "software updates" and clicking on "Checking for Software Updates" .

"1 Launch Pro Tools.
2 Choose Help > Check For Updates."

well, under the Help menu, there is no "Check For Updates".

So the instructions are invalid.

the "help" instructions might need to be updated. You can check for updates now in the App Manager (look up in your toolbar!)

12.0 is the current version of Pro Tools, and as of this version the Check For Updates function has been moved to the Application Manager app (select Check For Updates in the upper right menu of Avid's Application Manager).

I found the page you are referring to and will pass this along to be fixed.
