What im going to do is return the seagate , ill also look into one of those Externals mentioned . but Mind you this is fresh install of pro tools brand new mini mac no custom modifications and getting the dae error , how getting one of the mentioned externals will remove the error i dont seee how that will happen . before the mac i was on windows XP using Mpowered PT 8. on simple tech 500gb external . NO problems with it . im going back to the studio tonight and see what the specs are on the simple tech drive . . but the problem still remains i was up till 2AM working on it ... Not solved
