Default trim volume pt 9 le?

i can't not find trim volume on pt 9 le any idea or its not coming with that feature ?

If you mean trim automation, you need the CPTK 2 to get that (and any other 'advanced' automation) feature

i was watching a mastering tutorial and this guy used a trim volume option where you can see waveform,volume,playlist,mute etc.. he got and option it said trim volume ... and on my pt9 i can not see it ..

Trim is part of the HD/Complete Toolkit feature set.

Incredible that you have to pay so much money to 'unlock' this feature. I think Avid should take the same approach video game developers take and allow you to unlock HD features when you do certain things. That would be fun!

Are you needing to Trim input from external devices - i.e., pre-amps, etc.

You can trim off line. Just open up the automation lane and select the spot and pul it up, or down as you like. But trim and VCA automation are not included in LE.

this guy was using the volume trim as a desser cuz is better trim the volume than used the desser ...this guys from digidesign really are all about money that's why a lot of people switch to other software's...

OK. If you can catch every ess in realtime with a fader set to trim then you are amazing.
A de-esser can respond MUCH faster than you can. Even in trim mode. Trust me.
