The last word from digi was that it is in development and until then the only training officially offered is the webinars that are being done through the digidesign website.

Hope this helps

That surprises me. As we teach it/offer it here in London!

There is an official 210V 3 day course that Digi/Avid offer and we have as part of our Live Sound Diploma and as a stand alone for experienced engineers (max class size 2 people in a real Venue for them). I've done it myself.

It covers advanced features like snapshots, (the excellent implementation of these, is really what stands the Venue apart from its competitors)[bleep] as well as all the usual basics, in great detail. It's a very full 3 days and would help you execute a complex show.

I can't believe there is no College or Avid Pro School/training centre that is offering this to Pros in The U.S.A. ?? Mind you it is not listed on Digi's own website, but I guess with the ultimate migration of this site to maybe AVIDs site its low on their web priorities. It is not vapourware and it does exist.

Cheers

Hey all --
The last post was correct, there is VENUE 210v certification offered via the link shown. Also, we continue to grind on getting education to the forefront here at Avid. There are some programs being developed for 2010 that I can't speak about openly here, but keep your eyes peeled for upcoming training and certification events.

For the new course outlines -110 and 210 V I believe - have checked the link of both the american and the UK training facilities and they both looks very good.Haven't found anything about where the training takes place at the american one but the uk looks like a proper venue with a good PA and Venue system. The prices though are so much different.Still deciding....
