Default volume trim in PT LE

Hi!
I have digi003 PT le 7.3.4 at home and I just came from a pro studio where I noticed that the engineer was using Volume trim. I have now been searching for this feature in my home system but can´t find it!
where is it? or is it only in HD systems? or 7.4 +upwards?
many thanks.

It's an HD only feature.

I use ProTools M-Powered 7.4 and I have a mono TRIM plugin. Just click on an empty plugin bank and chose mono, then other. Thats where my TRIM plugin is on my machine. If you want the Audio Suite version then click the AS drop down, close other and then use the GAIN plugin.

Hope this is what your talking about!!

Nick

Describe what happens as there may be a simple way in LE to accomplish the same end.

with the trim tool, pull down your volume automation to the right of the last breakpoint, this will effectively do the same thing.

just to elaborate on nicks point, insert a trim plug, then automate its gain.
not as sexy, but same result.
(just make sure its after any dynamics processors in the insert chain.
if you're out of inserts, buss it to a sub mix aux and trim that automation.)
b.o.l.
