Default bouncing to disk trouble

Hello i have a pc running windows xp, with a gig of ram, and a amd 2400+ which clocks in at about 1.8ghz. I would think this would be enough to handle pro tools. I am using pro tools 6.1 with an mbox. I tried the bounce to disk function with two 3:30 audio tracks with about 3 plug ins on each, and each time i did it it would not work. It woudl give a cpu error and say mess with the play back engine stuff, but when i raised or reduced the h/w buffer it wouldnt fix anything. does anyone know of a way a can fix this problem? or is it that my pc just inst good enough to handle pro tools?

Default Re: bouncing to disk trouble

There was a bounce to disk bug in 6.1 that was affecting certain people with certain setups. I never had that problem, but the upgrade to 6.4 located here apparently fixes that problem.
