Default Workspace view presets don't save

The presets in the workspace window don't save ? Is this a known bug ? This makes digibase useless. Any ideas ? Anybody ? or should everyone buy soundminer ?

I have a constant battle with this. Never found a reliable solution. Whenever I use a system though I'll set Preset 5 as my defaults. Almost always have to re-set them anytime I reboot PT though.

Try Command-Clicking on the preset number.

Yes, think you're missing the point. They are Command-clicking but it doesn't store reliably. Been happening to me - OSX 10.5.8 Intel 8.01 HD & LE. It's V annoying.

it works reliably on our PT11.3.1 OS10.8.5 system. I also have my default stored under memory 5. On our PT12.7 OS 10.12.2 systems it doesn't always seem to store it. I'm not sure yet if it has to do with opening sessions from older PT version templates or that it just doesn't work reliably.

I gave up years ago and use SoundMiner. My only trips to the Workspace involve moving and relinking media. I thought I was doing something wrong with the presets. Apparently I'm not alone.

Yeah, it's weird - this used to be one of my big complaints, but in 12 it's been working fine for me. I set up a browser window the way I want it, hit command-number and from then on that preset shows up and works in all my sessions going forward. Something mysterious about why this seems to work for some and doesn't work at all for so many others.

Tried this once, didnt work, didn't bother again. Didn't know they still hadn't fixed it. Import video command short cut hasn't worked for me on PC since version 8 either.

Would be interesting to see if sessions that work for some of you don't work on others systems. I.e is it system dependant or session dependant.
