This almost worked but now the horizontal scrolling sends me DIAGONALLY. That is it goes both up and down along with the left to right movements. I've uninstalled logitech options and still nothing!!

Anyone found a fix for this? I'm running pro tools 11 on Windows 10.

I also tried using X Mouse Button Control for Windows 10 and Pro Tools 11. X Mouse seems to recognize my tilt wheel (Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX) for a few seconds once I turn the mouse on and off again, but then very quickly stops registering it. I read elsewhere to try running X Mouse as administrator, but it hasn't done anything for me. Are there any other solutions for getting tilt wheels to work for horizontal scrolling?

The keyboard shortcut is Shift+Scroll either forward or backward to go up and down the timeline so, AFAIK, you would have to program a Macro of Shift+Scroll for each Scroll Wheel direction if possible and then set it for "During". Not sure there is the ability to program "Scroll" in XMBC and, if there is, if the Direction would work.

Rastafarai ! I did it !

So, for those interested about scrolling horizontally with the Apple Mighty Mouse on PT9 PC version :
Download the great freeware X-Mouse Button Control here :
http://www.highrez.co.uk/downloads/X...tonControl.htm

Then, you can access the settings of all your mouse.
Create a profile by clicking "Add".
Then go search the "protools.exe" launcher.
In the settings "Tilte Wheel Left" and "Tilt Wheel Right", go to : Simulated Keys (undefined).
We're gonna define it !

Enter in the blank this for the left wheel : {CTRL}{SHIFT}{MWUP}
and this for the right wheel : {CTRL}{SHIFT}{MWDN}

By scrolling horizontally, it will emulate the CTRL + SHIFT + WHEEL.

Then apply, and go enjoy your horizontal scroll in PT ! :)

ps:

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think PT9 PC don't understand the horizontall scroll of mouses... I've tested it with a Logitech mouse (one like grendizer mentionned before) and it doesn't work.
You are the freaking man! This was bugging the crap out of me after recently switching to PC from mac. Now if only I can find a way to switch between the mix and edit windows using a PC equivalent to cmd + ~ !

Well it helps if you know the right command on a Mac first.

On a Mac, toggle between edit and mix is Command + Equal (=)
On Windows, it is Control + Equal (=)

it can be the equal on a number pad or the equal on the plus key; doesn't matter (though Control + Equal (=) on a Mac toggles the MIDI editor; so make sure you are on the right system type)
