Default No Hardware Detected

I picked up a M-Audio Oxygen Pro 61 and it comes with Pro Tools First downloaded it when I open it up its start loading pluggins ect than I get a message no hardware found please connect your hardware device and turn it on and hit ok, I hit ok but same message pops up My Controller is plugged in and on.
Set to control Pro Tools and Windows as manual says. But I think Keyboard controller is not a hardware device. HP Laptop running Windows 10.
Any thoughts Thanks

The MAudio you have is a midi keyboard controller. It's used to trigger sounds in virtual instruments and apps.

What you need (the "hardware not detected") is what's commonly referred to as a "audio interface" that connects to the PC and handles the input and output of audio and the analog/digital conversion, and it's where you plug in your headphones and monitors. Like, I use the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, and I can recommend it.

Or if money is tight just download www.asio4all.com

It will use your onboard audio card and work as a virtual interface. This is NOT a replacement by any means as it usually sux but can be used until you buy a real interface. Let us know how you get on.
