PT 9 with HD1
Stupid question but I have to ask because well......I don't know the answer. Or, I know the answer but I wish it weren't true. Installing an(used) HD1 and 96 I/O on my computer currently running PT9 will allow me to use the card but bear none of the benefits of HD correct?
Assuming I get PT HD 8(new) along with this setup, will I be qualified for an amnesty update to 9 HD? I have a feeling I know the answer to these but I have to ask.

Yes I have a low post count but only because I don't have a lot of problems with my gear.
