Default ixmicro twin mon cards

I read about these as recommended on this forum and bought one....I have a samsung sync master 719s and a Nokia LCD 500Xa
I seem to be unable to run the Nokia as 1st monitor, the samsung will say no cable....only the other way around it works, with the samsung on the mac plug( mon#1) but this makes the Nokia look very ugly: I have strange colour behaviour and it is generally dark with no contrast. both are on 1024x768 and thous.of colours.
both have a vga plug , so i need an adapter for the mac plug.....it doesnt make any difference if the ixmicro drivers are installed or my old ATI drivers are present
mac 9500 OS 8.5.1/8.6 +9.04 XLR8G3-450-320mb ram
any idea what I can do ?
thanx
hanno
