mbox instal problems
hello
i installed my mbox yesterday and when i start pro tools i got al the time like a kind of digital buzzzzz that is nto loud to work with can somebody help me please thanks chris |

Do you hear a very weak "digital" buzz in the headphones all the time? It is probably that the PC delivers a bit low on the voltage on the USB connector. My laptop does that when the battery is low, and then the buzz is noticable (otherwise nnot noticable at all). Ony possible solution is to get the right kind of USB hub (some work, some not), with an external 5V power supply.
Another is to back to the store and complain. Ask to compare a few units, all of them buzz a little, some very much less. Gunnar.

You might keep your AC power adapter plugged in, this should deliver the specified voltage to the USB port.
