Do yourself a favour and get DMG Equilibrium. It has everything you can and can’t dream about. It is expensive but you definitely get what you pay for.

As well as Fabfilter Pro Q2 have a piano display.
Both Equilibrium and Pro Q2 are in a different league from any waves plugins.

Thanks a lot! I'll take a look but then I'm covered on EQ for now so I only need the piano roll, $29 sounds especially good for that, graphic display and M/S capability.

I have pretty much all the Waves stuff but I find I'm using the F6 a lot these days.

Regarding the piano roll, I thought it would be more useful than it actually turned out. I'm finding dynamic EQ far more of a feature, especially when teamed with the RTA.

Just look up the frequency of a particular note on the odd occasion you need it. https://pages.mtu.edu/~suits/notefreqs.html

Been there, done that. I have several charts. I've used the piano roll and I find it more useful as a musicians tool than as a mixing tool.

That does come in handy, plus the saturation and filter options. Its a good set of features for one eq. A Swiss army knife... almost.
