Should I buy a Control|24?
Hello out there!
This is my first posting on the forum! I've been using PT with the 002 rack and an analogue desk for a couple of years now to good effect. However, I'm through with mixing with a mouse (my elbow and hand are quite sore). So - I'm thinking of installing a C|24 and a HD2 system... Can anyone out there who has experiance of recording/mixing bands with a C|24 advise whether or not it is properly suited for ease of use in situations with musicians/cue mixes etc? I'm wary of being bogged down with layers of menus while the band are eager to get the take down. How well can it deliver latency free cue mixes? For how long will it remain compatible with newer PT software versions? I have a million questions but these 2 will do for now..! Hopefully, Gwyn.
