Would anyone know how to activate Pro Tools 12??? Without having teacher/student number??

Hi

What did you actually buy and what did you recieve? If you bought a second hand student or edu license you might be in trouble as those aren't meant for resale and might be very hard to transfer so you can use it,

Please give more details as it's hard to know what's what with a one line post

No I brought it brand new from Store DJ in Sydney.. Cost me $690

Sorry, yes I received like a USB stick with a code.. But I don't really want to try it, after reading about student/teacher activation code

Why are you referring to student and edu license when you bought a perpetual PT12 license? Are you a student or EDU teacher?

Thank you.. Nope not a student nor a Edu teacher.. I brought it as a gift, for a friend whom has use pt 9 & 10.. Thanks

If your friend has 9&10 already did you buy a new license or an update with the Annual Support Plan?

Actually brought PT12 that also comes with an automatic upgrade.. Haven't even used either.
