PT8 problem with Xpand 2
Hi, I searched and couldn't find a thread on this......when I try to instantiate Xpand 2 it loads but then kind of blurs out, and a dialog box comes up and says "THE FACTORY CONTENT WAS NOT FOUND" and lists the navigation to the folder as /applications/digidesign/protoolscreativecollection and then it says "please locate the content file" and gives me a browse button.
Sounds pretty straight forward, but, when I navigate to the address listed above, the content is there. And when I try to click on it, it closes Pro Tools. I am running PT8 on a macbook 2.16 dual core with 1gb ram and OSX 10.5.5 |

Re: PT8 problem with Xpand 2
Can you check permissions on that folder and make sure you have read & write access?

Re: PT8 problem with Xpand 2
That did it! It was the only folder of the 3 that was set that way.
Thanks!!! |

Re: PT8 problem with Xpand 2
OK, spoke too soon, I still can't open the file. I can browse to it, but it's still greyed out.
