ProTools and Hyperprism

When switching between ProTools and Hyperprism (Stand alone) I have to go to the sound control panel and toggle between "Built In" and "Digidesign". This is so that I can monitor Hyperprism through my 001 I/O. If I leave it set to "Digidesign" and then go back to ProTools (after quiting Hyperprism), I get a "Hardware in use" error message. I never have to do this on my 882 or 442 systems. Am I overlooking something somewhere? It's just a bit time consuming. ( It destroys the mood creatus interruptus)
