Still can't install 10.2 after uninstalling 10.0
I'm trying to install PT 10.2 but the installer keeps saying I have to uninstall the previous version. I have - but it keeps telling me I need to uninstall it!
What's wrong here? |

Re: Still can't install 10.2 after uninstalling 10.0
I had a similar issue 2 weeks ago . I had pt 9 installed, and couldnt install pt10 as it claimed i had the older ver still on my computer.
I couldnt uninstall the hd drivers any way, but luckily I had made a system restore point before adding anything so wound my drivers back to a pre pt happy day. Peter |

Re: Still can't install 10.2 after uninstalling 10.0
Actually, just solved it!
I reinstalled 10.0, then I went to the uninstaller in Windows and selected -all Avid programs- (except for the M-Box actually). Not only Pro Tools, that is. Then it accepted the 10.2 installer. |

The trick(which you actually did with your method) is to also uninstall the HD driver along with Pro Tools.
