Cannot install and/or activate Pro Tools

Hey! I'm totally stuck and do not find a solution for my problem:

1. I tried to install my copy of Pro Tools M-Powered 8 on my computer (Windows 7, 32 Bit), but the DVD does not seem to work. It takes forever to load and setup does not start. Sometimes it shows errors, that it's not a legitimate Windows x32 file or some else. I tried to run it with compatibility modes Win 2000, Win XP and everything else, it did not work.
-There are NO scratches on it at all.

2. As I gave up trying to use the DVD I tried to activate my copy on my account on avid.com to download it, BUT in "my products" it shows nothing - AND I cannot find an activation code anywhere on the box, the manuals or the cards, only for "Celemony Melodyne Essential".

So now here I am, unable to install my Pro-Tools neither from DVD nor can I download it.

It's an Educational Version, bought from a shop in Germany.
I bought it about a year ago and had it installed on the same computer. As I had to reinstall everything, I'm in this position now. I had the same problems with the DVD the first time I installed it, but I sadly cannot remember how I settled it...

I would be very thankful if someone could help me!
