Routing USB Audio into HD?
I guess this is semi-pro?????? but has uses. So a PODxt has USB out, and that's the only way to record with it digitally (the non-rack mount PODxt). I can record into Audio Hijack, but it'd be cool to route it into PT. Maybe there's a plug-in that can access a USB device & route it in? Any other thoughts?

Re: Routing USB Audio into HD?
Unless someone has written a re-wire app or vst that you could rap I think you are out of luck.

Re: Routing USB Audio into HD?
On way(possibly) is to use a program called wire tap,its free. It records any sound digitally that is routed to the mac outputs.
e.g DVD player or a pod. so you could play a track on PT play through your pod, record it with wire tap and then import the audio file into PT(youd have to sync manually though). That should work though a bit of a faff. |
