MIDI Not working Please help

for some reason my midi stopped working. its all setup correctly and even did a test in the midi set up window and it works there but when i go to use midi in protools to play lets an instrument lets use xpand as an example. nothing happens was working a a few minutes before and i minimized protools and when i came back this accord. i'm using an m-audio usb uno as my midi interface, PT8.03cs1, MBox2 and computer info in sig. thanks in advance

P.S. i have tryed restarting my macbook and still no change

also just checked to see if midi works in Logic Pro9 and everything works there but not in protools. extremely weird since it was working just literately a minute before in protools

Go to MacHD>Users>your account>Library>Preferences>By Host and trash 'com.apple.midi.a bunch of numbers and letters.plist'.

Go to MacHD>Users>your account>Library>Preferences and trash 'com.apple.audio.audiomidisetup.plist'.

Empty the trash and restart, then see if everything is working.

Just got doe trying that out and unfortunately a no go. Should i just uninstall protools and reinstall it? I was hoping to avoid this but it seems like there's no other choice

-Go to Users > “your user name” > Library > Preferences
-Delete 'com.digidesign.protoolsLE.plist', 'DAE Prefs' (folder), 'DigiSetup.OSX' and 'Pro Tools preferences'.
-Empty trash, then restart the computer.

Repair Permissions also.

Try double-clicking Digidesign\Drivers\MMERefresh and launch Pro Tools.
