Back when I upgraded to HD9 I bought the Instrument Expansion Pack.

I have tried to enter its serial number (it's on my iLok as well) at the AIR website and it's not found. Email is never returned.

What would I have to do to get working AAX versions?

If it's that old, you most likely have the original Air Expansion Pack v.1. Most likely you will need to upgrade to the newer one for $129. It doesn't matter that you just now entered the number. Because it's been under different ownership for a few years now, it doesn't count.

As Tom said, call their tech support and find out what your options are.

separate at full price - back in the day.

2013 I got a mail from AIR with promo codes for a free upgrade to version 2.
Now 2 years later I tried to finally upgrade my plugins but the promo codes don´t work anymore.

After a long conversation with the german support AIR is writing me that the upgrade timescale has EXPIRED and I would have to pay 129 USD for the full upgrade...how much does this suck ??

I'm pretty sure the promo pricing was $129 (or maybe $99? I can't remember). You're being offered a 43% discount from the normal upgrade price. That doesn't suck at all.

Agree and you get 7 VI which wasn't included when we paid almost $500 for the PTIEP1 just 3 years ago, now we get LOOM and Hybrid3 included which alone are worth Way more than $129 EACH IMO so $129 is a no brainer for sure.

The upgrade offer was time limited and it said so in every email I recieved when the IEP2 came out so thats a great deal you have there at $129

The upgrade mail from 2013 did not say it is a limited time offer -
Neither do I need Loom nor I need Hybrid 3 etc...
I only need my trusty old RTAS friends on AAX.

This sucks big time - air - one customer less.

I've had 2 paid upgrades since the original RTAS version. $129 seems like a no brainier to me.
