I have a request myself, since you have experience with EQ Matching.

I am after Angus Young's tone on "Back in Black" (the whole album).

Despite every song has a different little nuance to it, it basically stays the same for the whole album.

There are a few instances where the guitar can be caught really "alone", but the best one would be on the song "Shoot to thrill".

I am a well known classic rock guitarist known especially for my duplicating of AC/DC. Would love to credit you for the creation of my 11R Angus tone.

Hoping to catch your interest,

Thanks,

SD
i might see what i can do, but im not the best person to ask about modeling a classic rock sound. check out www.elevenrackpresets.com im pretty sure there are some good rock sounds there.

Diezel - VH4 model.

While the Diezel Herbert (above model) is similar to the VH4, the Herbert has a differant feel to it and is "looser" with more bass. So checkout the VH4 as well. I prefer the Herbert.

Diezel VH4:

I just downloaded the David Torn presets, my first since getting my 11R.

At the risk of sounding stupid, how do I get these into my computer/program.

Again, these are the first presets I've downloaded.

Thanks for the help.

well they are already on your computer since you downloaded them. Do you mean how to use them with the rack, or how to save them ON the rack?

You can only store a limited number of user presets on the rack around 100 if i remember right, but you can store as many as you want on your PC and still load them to the rack form the PC.

In Pro Tools in the Eleven Rack Window, just click in the Name area of the patch you are set to, and choose LOAD FROM PC, then choose the preset you want to load (tfx file)

Page 78 of your included 11R instruction book.

If you have not done so yet, i highly suggest that tonight when youre laying in bed, grab that book and give it a read through, theres lots in the book that will enhance your 11R experience.

Page 78 of your eleven rack guide.

Just choose Load From Computer, direct it to where the patch is located, and it will load the patch on the already selected patch, for instance, if your Eleven Rack is on C4, the patch will load on C4, it will not be saved, just loaded.

You can of course Save it to the Eleven Rack to ANY available preset number you wish. This is a great feature of the 11R, you can basically have an Unlimited number of Patches stored on your PC and load/save them to the Eleven Rack when needed.

enjoy

EDIT: Let me add, you need to have Pro Tools open to do this since the Eleven Rack Window, right now, is only availible with PT open.
