Disk Space Allocation
Hi, I am running pro tools free on a mac powerbook g4 with os x, but of course it opens in classic (os 9). Anyway, I've been trying for awhile to record some stuff using this, but it won't work. Everytime I create a new track and record enable it, once I hit record and play it says "cannot allocate disk space for recording." Also, when i import songs it won't play them back either. Anyone else having this problem?

Re: Disk Space Allocation
It won't work in "Classic" mode. You have to actually boot off an OS9 system. The best way to do that is to put OS9 & OSX on separate partitions, although you should be able to boot off 9 without doing that by selecting your OS9 system as the startup disk and restarting.
