Can't Hear MIDI Tracks

I am using a Digi001 on a PC. I ugraded from ProTools 5.3 to 6.4. As soon as I did this, I was not able to get a MIDI signal into ProTools. I went into my computer's Program Files and was able to open a MIDI port. I now am receiving the MIDI signal in ProTools and can record, but am still unable to hear it through my monitors. I can hear audio tracks, but not MIDI. I am using a Yamaha Motif to create MIDI. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

My PT machine is not on right now, but I think you need to find midi preferences and set midi thru to on. ALso make sure the midi track's output is set correctly. I assume you have the motif outputs plugged into a stero aux input for monitoring and if you play the keyboard, you do hear sound. If not, recheck your setup(maybe sounds silly but some newbie might benefit from the basic info).

You also won't hear any midi if low latency monitoring is turned on.
