Default Spectrum Analyzer

Hello all,

I am currently looking for a solid Real Time Spectrum Analyzer that I can run on LE (and hopefully one that doesn't break the bank.) Do any of you have any suggestions? Thanks.

First, buy FXpansion's VST to RTAS Adapter. It's the best $99 you'll ever spend. I promise. It allows you to use VST plug-ins in ProTools' RTAS environment. There are very literally THOUSANDSS of free and very good VSTs available all over the internet.

The FREE spectral analyzer you want is Blue Cat's FreqAnalyst. It's really, really impressive for a freeware program. The only problem I've noticed is a graphics glitch wherein you need to minimize the ProTools window and then maximize it again to see the analysis. It's a small pain for such a great free plug-in. And if you take the time to read the program notes, you'll see that it has an amazing cohort of features that you'll have a hard time beating in programs that will run you hundreds of dollars.

Check it out here: http://www.kvraudio.com/get/2649.html

Let me know if you go for it!

Here's a link to thye wrapper: http://www.fxpansion.com/index.php?page=15&tab=43
Shop around for a decent price on it.

I have run the RND Inspector with great results. Not bad for free.
