I have tracks of a song, but the notes are too high to sing. Its for female singers Is there a way I can change the tempo without changing the speed ?
Thanks

Do you mean pitch instead of tempo?

I think he does.

Tempo = speed of the song.
Pitch = sound of the notes being heard, persay.

You can lower the pitch via the ProTools Audiosuite. There is a pitch option which allows you to lower the pitch as low/high as you'd like.

Good Luck.

Actually that's what I mean the Pitch. I am still learning the terms.
So one of the plug-ins will do it right?
Thank you very much for your help.

You'll need a higher quality pitch shifter if its for vocals. You can get away with some instruments with the Digi one. Vocals are too easy to spot if not very well shifted. A few cents is no problem, but a few notes - you'll need Serato Pitvh n'Time or Waves Transform. Or outboard - Eventide
