Default Transfuser update
When I run Pro Tools I now get a plugin update alert telling me there is a Transfuser update....but the update looks like it's for 10 and I'm running 8LE. Is the update compatible with the version of PT I'm running?

Pro Tools 10 contains an AIR Virtual Instruments Updater for OS X.

No, not unless you are using Pro Tools 10 with Lion.

What version of Transfuser do you have installed?

There are actually newer versions of some of the AIR Plug-Ins for Pro Tools 10 than what the PT10 Installer includes. See kb425695

Also, to clarify... the included "Avid Virtual Instruments" (Boom, DB-33, Mini Grand, Structure Free, Vacuum, Xpand) are different than the optional "Pro Tools Instrument Expansion Pack" (Hybrid, Strike, Structure, Transfuser, Velvet).
