Default audio device ALWAYS back to Mbox2 (not Internal Speaker)

Default audio device ALWAYS back to Mbox2 (not Internal Speaker)

I have a Mbox2 mini with iMac(2008). Since upgrading to 8.0.3, the default audio device always changes to Digidesign Mbox2 after booting up. It doesn't matter what the last setup was. Always changes back to Mbox2. So I have to unplug Mbox2, or manually change to Internal Speaker.
I tried General Trouble Shooting, dumping the preferences, reinstalling 8.0.3 and everything I can try. But, no luck...
Do you have any idea what causes this problem??
