002 rack power harness

I joined up with a co-op studio space and the guy I hooked up with has a 002 rack with the now old school power harness issue. Mine has been fixed a while back but he was just pulling it and cleaning the conacts. Right now min is in use at the space but I need it for offsite tracking. He says digidesign won't give him the replacement harness kit like I got and won't even talk to him about it without a charged phonecall. No responses on emails. I admit yes he is on his own fo not jumping on this repair when I did but I never knew he even had the problem until now. What can he do to get the replacement harness kit? Does anyone have a spare to sell him? Does digi still ofer any help with this at all?

tell him to bite the bullet and call tech support - I think they will give his money back on the phone call, .... if not, he should post for all of us to see....

I'm not sure what happened here, but he should be able to get through the standard tech support lines - just let them know he is in need of a cable harness and he should be able to get through.

If, for some reason, he is sent to PAL any charges for the call will be reversed once they know it's for a cable harness issue.
