Pro Tools GUI is perfect just like it is. it doesn't matter what GUI DP is set to it always is hard to read and feels cheap. I love DP but the interface is it's worst "feature" and one of the main reasons I hardly use it. Avid have done a lot of things in recent years I have disagreed with that is for sure but their designs both software and hardware are professional, pleasing and streets ahead of anyone else and they work in every functional sense exactly like they are. Here's hoping they follow the same careful measured course they are following with regards to subtle enhancements because if they don't it will remind me more of when for example a new CEO steps into a company and thinks they have to change everything to justify their job and assert their leadership, or perhaps like when CBS took over Fender and changed everything that was working rather than subtly enhance it :) just my .02

i am lucky to have 2x 110 modules inside of a 215 that i beleive are from one of those consoles, not the reissue's .. awesome gear .. and Pretty !!

The Pro Tools GUI is like a map for me, I always color the same instruments the same (bass-blue, etc) so I rarely have to read or look at the notes. If someone changes one little thing in that GUI I would be lost and slowed down for a week at least

yea its a slippery slope, cause right now you can pretty much look at anyones system and know what your looking at. if it gets all skinned crazy you lose that ability initially anyway
