Default JV2080 midi patch files

I've recently moved to PT on the mac, and I'm trying to get a JV2080 up and running with midi patch definition files - I see that the JV1080 is listed under the .midnam files, but not the JV2080. Can anyone do me a huge favour and send me the .midnam files , or tell me where to get them?

I've also got the following expansion cards in the machine: Session, Super, Hiphop, Vocal, Keyboards of the 60's & 70's, Synth & Orch2. Do these need separate .midnam files, or will all be included in one jumbo file for the JV2080>

Many thanks,
Ian

May I have it too, Evil? My email is noel (at) catfishmusic (dot) com Thanks in advance!

I have similar issue to Ian - what are people doing about expansion cards?
For example, I have "Roland JV-1080.midnam" and I have something called "Pop Expansion.midnam" (not sure where I got that one)
Now I'm trying to edit the former and paste in the latter. I'm just flailing around here...

Naked,
I sent you the file. It works with PT LE 6.4, for 2080 -Bass and Drums, and Orch 2

All Credit to Bobby Woods at Heart Times Coffee Cup Studios, who spent a lot of effort helping me with this.

Hi.
I find myself sitting here after finally browsing to this thread on the 2080 with 2080 issues.

It is unbelievable that there is no simple way to update our own midnam files for our expansion cards etc!

I guess for now, it would be a wonderful step in the right direction if I could humbly ask someone to send me this infamous 2080 midnam file that actually works! I've been scowering the net all morning and can't find anything for the unit.

For what it is worth, the 2080 is loaded with SR-JV80-09 (session) and the SR-JV80-02 (Orchestral) cards

I have a roland Fantom with the SRX -02 (Concert Piano) and the SRX-04 (Symphonic Strings) just in case there is anyone out there with a midnam file for any of this either.

Thanks for your support on this midnam crisis. Its always a crisis isn't it? Why can't someone just make our lives easy with this ...

by the way... my email is [email protected] for whoever might have the files
