Mixdown 96 KHz or 48 Khz
I have some stuff recorded at 24 bit 96 Khz, I don`t have enough memory as I would like, I have to record the reverbs to audio tracks to free some memory for other plugins. So how much quality do I compromised if I convert my session to 24 bit 48 Khz, do I have to use a dither plugin for this? Edward Plenge |

Re: Mixdown 96 KHz or 48 Khz
Not having enough cpu power and ram memory maybe be what is causing your system not to handle reverbs. Recording at 96K on a slow system with limited resources may not be the best way to go, and it would require to have a large audio drive. Unless your 96k sessions are small. If you convert your sessions to 48k, just let PT do the work. Create a new session at 24/48 and import your 96k files. You wont hear a difference.
