Running fine on Mojave - apart from an issue with Massey plugins (can't turn any knobs)

EDIT - fixed with public beta Massey

I don't really need any new features. Nice to see some stability and bug fixes!

I'm using 2018 on Mojave as well, but I'm a fairly lightweight user and don't need to track at low buffer sizes. In any case, I always feel like I'm hanging it out there a bit using software in ways that aren't officially supported by the publisher.

Are the bug fixes you're mentioning based upon in-the-field user reports, or Avid's claim that they have fixed bugs? Is 2018.12 less buggy than 2018.7?

Keep in mind that with every new release new bugs are introduced, so that must be factored into the game. The question is: do the more relevant operations of PT now exhibit fewer bugs? I don't much care if the bug fix list is populated with miniscule and irrelevant repairs.

Yes, from my perspective. Apple had made a major change to APFS for SSD storage and in High Sierra it was buggy to say it aloud. Mojave still isn't supported, but 2018.12 works more effectively now even on unsupported platform.

Good to know about Mojave. We've not had any issues related to the new file structure in High Sierra and don't feel a rush to go to Mojave just yet.

Mojave also seems to be better in cpu throttling

Does the Massey Wizard see and install these beta plugins? Or did you download them manually?

Edit: I just noticed the Enable Beta Plugins option in the Wizard.
